Architect: Weber Thompson
General Contractor: Pennon Construction Company, Inc.
Completion: Spring 2017

Project Description:

The Fremont Office Building will be another opportunity for Mission Glass to team up with Pennon Construction and provide the complete exterior glazing shell work for this project. Fremont will utilize several glazing systems from Kawneer including Trifab 451UT thermal storfront, 1600UT curtain wall, and their pre-glazed version of the PG123 Window Wall. The PG123 system will be used as the primary glazing assembly throughout the exterior and incorporate several different glass types and patterns for added aesthetic interest. A couple of unique design elements that will be incorporated into these glazing systems will include perforated horizontal sunshades by Construction Specialties and custom vertical glass fins provided by McGrory Glass. There will also be a terra-cotta baguette system at the main feature stairwell, fully supported by a structually glazed curtain wall. These unique features will be custom designed and fabricated by the minds at Mission Glass to seamlessly integrate into the glazing assemblies and make the exterior facade a unique feature that will surely enhance the new feel of the ever-expanding Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.
