The new Auburn High School project was a complete replacement of the existing set of buildings that had outlived their useful life. The new design was meant to have a timeless look, while also incorporating new technologies to keep up with the tech-savvy methods of teaching that are making their way into the classroom. Due to the complex scale of the project, and the need to keep students in the classrooms, the building construction was broken out into two separate phases. Mission Glass installed storefronts, curtain walls, sunshades, and window systems all supplied by OldCastle Building Envelope. Glazing was provided by Hartung Glass out of Seattle utilizing Guardian’s high-performing SN68 coated architectural glass.
