The Hyatt Regency at the Oregon Convention Center is situated in the Lloyd District, just North of the existing Convention Center and a few blocks East of the Moda Center, home to the NBA's Portland Trailblazers and WHL's Winterhawks. The hotel provides 600 rooms and numerous convention spaces, designed to attract hundreds of thousands of new visitors to Portland annually. Mission Glass provided high-end finishes on curtain wall and entrance systems from Oldcastle Building Envelope. The podium exterior was accented by several different glass tints and high-performance coatings provided by Vitro Architectural Glass and fabricated by Northwestern Industries. This was Mission Glass' first major project in Oregon, but with our long-time partner Mortenson, it is just the first on what is sure to be a long list of projects in the future, as Portland looks to modernize and update core areas to attract global talent and tourism.
