The Jefferson Park Golf Course received the go-ahead to replace the existing clubhouse and driving range shelter on Beacon Hill. The new clubhouse consisted of a two story structure, with spaces for a pro shop, restaurant, youth learning center and banquet rooms. The clubhouse design was inspired by the Northwest and combined elements of wood, steel, and large openings to the outdoors. The central lobby was fully glazed with Kawneer storefronts and curtain wall systems. The new orientation of the clubhouse and the vast expanses of glazing were designed to allow as much natural daylight into the building as possible, increasing the interior comfort throughout the structure. This was a great project in the Beacon Hill area that has certainly left a lasting impact on every one of its visitors as they drive and putt their way through the updated complex.
