The MultiCare facility is a state-of-the-art neighborhood emergency department built in response to the growing need for emergent medical needs for the surrounding community.

The project consisted of the tried-and-tested Kawneer 1600UT curtain wall with high-performance tinted insulated glass. This combination allows for a thermally-efficient system that cuts down on energy expenditures of the building's heating and cooling systems during both hot summer days and cold winter nights. Automatic sliding doors were seamlessly integrated into the main entry curtain wall to allow plenty of clearance for medical equipment and patients accessing the facility.

Mission Glass also partnered up as the installer of Novum Structure's point-supported structural glass canopy. While this system provides the functionality of keeping a dry area for emergency vehicles, the aesthetics of an all-glass canopy go much further and create a focal keystone to the exterior facade.
