The Allied Health and Technology Building at NSCC underwent an extensive renovation and expansion to create an updated multi-use center in the heart of the campus. Mission Glass was able to revisit the campus as one of the select contractors working for the community college in delivering this project. As with our previous Integrated Resource Center work, this renovation included complex curtain walls and sunshade systems to provide stunning views both inside and out, while helping balance the overall building performance. With seamless transitions between vertical curtain walls into horizontal skylights, this project required extensive coordination between the skylight installer DeAmor and Mission Glass in both planning and execution. Other unique features included the folding glass wall systems by Nanawall, and the custom vertical sunshade systems by Construction Specialties; both of which we were able to seamlessly integrate into Kawneer 1600 Curtain Walls. This project was a pleasure to be a part of and is one we are glad to add to our growing list of successful deliveries!
