Right down the road from the Bow Lake Facility is another great project to handle Seattle’s growing garbage and recycling needs. This project’s main glazing feature is a large angled-top curtain wall at the 3rd floor that overlooks the main parking facility. There are also intriguing views from the administration facility into the pre-manufactured structure that will serve as the main area for temporary garbage drop-off. A LEED Gold rating is targeted for this project, which is helped along by the high recycled content of Kawneer’s aluminum systems and natural daylighting throughout. At the scalehouses, we have incorporated CRL’s deluxe automatic service windows within storefront frames to create a combination that looks great, as well as provides excellent functionality.
