What is an Entrance System?
Entrance systems fall under a variety of applications including aluminum storefront doors, all glass entrance doors, folding doors, revolving doors, and a wide variety of custom applications. Our products can seamlessly integrate electrical components for automatic door operators, access control systems and building security. Glass entrances offer a high-end look with greater visibility than standard wood or metal solid-core doors.
Mission Glass performs the installation of all hardware in their storefront entrances. This means there is a thorough understanding of hardware operation, which avoids the typical conflicts and compatibility issues of providing “off the shelf” door hardware that can be provided by a multitude of manufacturers or vendors. We’ve seen it all when it comes to door hardware, and when we haven’t seen it, our deep background of industry knowledge allows us to understand the difficult concepts and pitfalls involved with designing custom entrance systems. This allows us to deliver entrances that work right the first time, every time.

Our Process
Precise door layouts and elevations are created by Mission Glass and given to our manufacturers who use high-precision computer-controlled machinery to pre-fabricate the doors based from templates provided by the hardware manufacturers. Once the doors are received, Mission Glass installs and adjusts the hardware components. For any electronically controlled hardware, we in-house test the locking mechanisms and functionality prior to sending them to site for final installation. This ensures doors are installed on site with minimal adjustments and allows the building to be secured in the shortest time possible.
